Background: The sense of sighthas essential role that is very clear, and the potential effects of the disruption or weakness of this sense are clear and may cause many significant difficulties that included of physical, psychological, behavioral, social and educational aspects especially among adolescents.Aim: this study aimed to evaluate the effect of psycho- educational program for enhancement of self-compassion, tolerance of ambiguity and body Image among blind adolescents.Research design: A quasi-experimental research design was utilized (pretest- posttest with follow-up) . Setting: The study was conducted in Al Noor School for the blind studentsat Benha City - Qalyubia Governorate. Subjects: A purposive sample of 50 students of preparatory and secondary school were included in this study. Tools: Four different tools were used;Tool (1): A structured Interviewing Questionnaire Sheet, Tool (2): Self-Compassion scale Tool (3) Ambiguity Tolerance scale , and Tool (4): Body image scale.Results:There is statistically significant positive correlations between study variables in which thathigher self-compassion is associated with more positive body image and greater tolerance of ambiguity among adolescents. Conclusion: These results provide evidence of efficacy of psycho- educational program for enhancement of self compassion, tolerance of ambiguity and body image among blind adolescents Recommendations: Develop many intervention plans for reducing negative body image concept and also for the enhancing self-compassionand tolerance of ambiguityamong blind adolescents.
