Author guidelines:

Damietta Journal for Nursing Research and Health Sciences thanks all researchers for choosing to submit their paper to us. These instructions will ensure we have everything required so your research paper can move through a double-blind peer review, production and publication smoothly. Please take your time to read and follow them as closely as possible, as doing so will ensure your paper matches the journal’s scopes and publication requirements.

• Manuscript Preparation:

• Manuscript must be taken an ethical permission from the ethical committee before sending to our journal.
• Manuscripts must be clearly written in English and should be type written with a font Times New Roman with font size (14 pt,) leaving adequate margins on all sides to allow reviewers’ remarks and the heads are bold. Please leave 1.5 space for all materials. The length of the paper including text, tables, and figures should not exceed 15 pages. Place all tables and figures within the text.
• The manuscript should contain sections such as Title, Abstract, Introduction, Materials & Methods, Results & Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgement and finally References. No other subheadings should be given in the manuscript.
• The journal publishes scientific research and studies related to nursing and health sciences, which aims to add everything new in these fields and serve the society of the Arab Republic of Egypt in particular and the Arab and foreign society in general.
• Manuscripts will be printed on A4 paper, 1. 5 line space with margins of at least 2.5 inch. Pages will be numbered consecutively, beginning with the title page via the last page. All data will be expressed in units conforming to the system international (SI). Copies: One original and two photocopies of the entire manuscript should be submitted with a soft copy of the manuscript (CD).
• The research is considered accepted for publication after making the required modifications or rejected according to the reports of the reviewers. If they differ in opinion regarding its acceptance for publication, a third arbitrator is added.
• Please do not include line numbering in your manuscript. Any additional files that are meant to facilitate the manuscript's review (such as a PDF file that contains line numbers) should be uploaded as "Supporting Information (NOT FOR PUBLICATION)," so that they will not appear online if this version of the manuscript is accepted.

• Title

Include the article title, author(s) name, and professional title and institution affiliations. Include the corresponding author's name and exact postal address, current e-mail, telephone.

• Abstract

Not exceed 250 words, do not include abbreviations, footnotes or references. The abstract will have four sections (Background, Aim of the study, subjects and Method and Results) Conclusion/ recommendations will explain the significance of the work. if any, An Arabic abstract should be submitted with the same format. Key Words:  should include at the end of the abstract page, not more than five keywords in alphabetical order, separated by a comma not including abbreviations.

• Introduction

Include relevant literature related to the problem of study, and state the purposes and Significance of study and purposes. Abbreviations should be spelled out the first time they are used.

• Tables:

Use tables and figures where appropriate, to improve the clarity of the presentation.Type the tables double-spaced on separate sheets. Place the table number (in Arabic numerals) and title above the table and any explanatory notes below the table

• Figure and Photographs 

Figures must be as simple as possible, (2D), black and white with a clear background. Its number, name of the senior author and an arrow indicating "top" should be typed on a gummed label and affixed to the back of each illustration. All figures must be numbered as cited in the text in consecutive numerical order. Photographs must be high-contrast, glossy and black and white (When colors are unnecessary) prints and mounted with the preferred size between 10x13 and 13x18 cm.

• Discussion

Discuss the results in relation to other relevant studies in the same field. 

• Conclusion and Recommendations

A conclusion may review the main points of the paper.

• References

A reference list must be included using APA. Style

• Authors must be adhering to the permissible quotation rate according to the rules and instructions received from Egypt Supreme Council of Universities.

Note: plagiarism fees are supplied to the magazine’s account before the examination is conducted. 

• Publication Fees:
• 2000LE up to 20 pages and 20LE for each additional page.
• Residents and non-resident authors: 250$ up to 10 pages and 10$ for each additional page.
